-- Brij Mohal: Companies in our industry are engaged in a continual balanceing act where we try to provide the best solution to our customers using raw materials that have a number of different properties. For instance, both Inorganic and Organic based pigments are used in colorants. Each pigment is unique in its color value, as well as performance characteristics of pigments are directly relate to their chemical structures. so  inorganic pigments sucha as Red Iron Oixde, Yellow Iron Oxide and titanium dioxide have excellent opacity and are stable agaist sunlight and chemical attack. but they dull colors . Organic pigments have much more chroma, but they are more susceptible to fading i sunlight over time or lack durability, particularly yellow and red colors. There are ways to create very stable and durable yellows and reds using inorganic type materials which can be very expensive. Therefore, the indsutry is always looking for ways to increase the performance characteristics of yellow and red organic pigments that are more affordable.
